A leading not-for-profit teaching hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Manager to help oversee inpatient pharmacy services in Central California. This is an opportunity to lead pharmacist teams, support advanced pediatric care, and drive medication safety, regulatory compliance, technology, and operational improvement within a progressive healthcare system with an established pharmacy residency program.
Candidates must have a PharmD and at least three years of relevant pharmacy management or supervisory experience, preferably in hospital pharmacy. Five or more years of hospital pharmacy leadership experience is preferred. Responsibilities include pharmacy operations, pharmacist oversight, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and pharmacy technology initiatives. A California pharmacist license is preferred, but candidates willing and able to obtain licensure before starting may be considered. Retail-only experience will not qualify.
This full-time leadership role offers primarily weekday day shifts, with some schedule flexibility based on operational needs. Compensation ranges from approximately $172,000 to $250,000 annually, depending on experience.
